Last Thursday, May 12, the stake preparedness committee had the opportunity to attend a presentation by Elder and Sister Rose. The Roses are currently called to manage the Lindon Home Storage Center.
The importance of home storage was reaffirmed, and they talked about the things that are currently available there. As stake leaders we recommend visiting this facility and taking advantage of the products as a place to build a base for your food storage. They carry mostly basics, but these are things everyone will need and use in a crisis – personal or wide-spread.
They offer a digital monthly newsletter that can be emailed to you. It has information, notice of sales, and recipes. If you would like to sign up to receive that newsletter you can go to this link: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=s-7mYddfqkquPGHo3rCbeRIG7qLQST9AmaeGytpB83JURUhONVk5VFdQUldQMkYyT0JDMUZMTjBHWi4u Of course you can also easily unsubscribe at any time (Each newsletter has a link to do so.)
We are blessed to have such a resource near us. Not all places through the world do. We are also grateful to the missionaries who serve there in order to help you practice faith and obedience by preparing. If you want to visit the Lindon Home Storage Center here is the address, phone number, and the hours they are open. *It is easiest to access this from Geneva Road.
